They boys were at their in laws this year (but they still sent me a picture) and Gator and I went to Josh & Rachelles. It was just 5 of them and the 2 of us. Dinner was delicious and we played games, then spent the night watching Christmas movies. Thanksgiving is still my favorite holiday. I love the day with family, the food, the mood, staying home all day, watching football and Christmas movies, all of it.
Owen and Kylee were already planning on coming up over the weekend because they had Alan Jackson concert tickets. That is one of the concerts Owen always said he didn't care what he had to pay, if he came locally in concert he'd be there. And this was his last time touring in Utah ever. They came for the whole weekend, which is fine with me. I asked them to help with Sadies and then last night we had a dessert night with Sheila's family so they wanted to stay in town for that. I love weekends with my family, it is so fun having them all in one house again.
Gator had Sadies over the weekend. After a stressful time of having a date, then not having a date, to having another date, she was able to go with her group of friends and have an awesome time. She said they had so much fun. And I am pretty proud of the day date that I put together. Will I do it again? Yes, if asked, but I won't volunteer. I was so stressed out finding enough helpers (thank you to my boys, Carrie, and Blake), and worrying about the task locations, and then the weather decided to get really cold and snow. But none of that bothered the kids, they all said they had so much fun!
Gator is doing a great job learning the ways of the swim team. She was super nervous for her meet today because she had to swim a longer race than she thought she was capable, but she did it! All she needs to works on is her flip turns and her confindence. Because she is doing great, but now just to make her believe it.
Davis and Kin just got home from the Dominican Republic. They had an awesome time, and said they definetely want to go back someday. I got some pictures and the job of picking them up from the airport at 2:00am. Gee thanks.
