Stay Away!

For your own safety, stay away from my house!! The flu is working it's way through my family. I won't go into the gorey details, but watch for a colored flag to wave in my yard. Than you will know it is safe to come over again. I hope we make it to all the fun things planned this weekend for the 4th of July!

A day to play!

We spent the day today with cousins just playing outside over at Josh & Rachelles. What else is summer vacation for but to play, and spend time with friends?

And tonight Lulu is having a sleepover. In anticipation for another day at Lagoon tomorrow. I doubt we will be exclusive guests tomorrow though. Bummer, that was so nice last week.

Playing in the rain

The kids had a private party today at Lagoon. No not really, but it seemed that way, they practically had the park to themselves. It could have been because it was raining, but they didn't care. Owen was just happy because all the rides were water rides that day. They had everything done by 1:30 and that is when the rain REALLY started coming down, so we left so the kids could get dry and warm.

Thanks Lu for saving our day!

It was only 8:30 this morning and I was already hearing it. "Mom, I'm bored", "mom what can I do", "mom can we do something". Oh boy, I knew it was going to be a bad day. I tried to ignore the boys pleas for me to entertain them, but than they started fighting and screaming and beating each other up. I needed help. So I went and got Lu. She saved my day. My kids love having her over and she helps so much. She gave Ally a bath, played with all my kids, cleaned up the house and kept the boys from killing each other. So if anyone of you need a break, give Lu a call she is a great help to have around, and she is so dang sweet too. Love you Lulu!!

We made it home tonight safe and sound. No flat tires this time either. Davis' vacation ended happy. He lost his train blanket the first night of our trip. Well, I called the hotel we stayed in on the way down and they found it in their laundry so we went and picked it up and he was all smiles. So that shortens our "lost list" to Ally's shoes (no suprise there), Ally's hat (again no suprise), all my camera stuff that was stolen out of the stroller and Ally's swimsuit bottom (can't figure that one out). Not too bad at least I made it home with all my kids and my sanity. We had a wonderful vacation, and I am so grateful for the fun memories we made.

Last stop....Sea World

Here we go our last stop on our vacation. We had a great day at Sea World with our family! Today the sun decided to come out, we have been enjoying overcast days, but we roasted today at the shows. What an amazing place. I love Sea World. In the morning we start the long drive home. Ooh! Hopefully we wore the kids out and they will sleep during the drive.

More fun, more pictures!

We have spent the last 2 days relaxing at the beach. Some relaxtion has been much needed after a busy week. We went to Seal Beach, and Cardiff by the Sea. My kids are fish and fit right in at the beach. Today we made the drive to San Diego, to meet up with everyone else. Tomorrow we are all going to Sea World. We went over for a couple of hours tonight to get a sneak peek, and we visited the sharks and dolphins. What a fun place. I cannot believe we are at the end of our vacation. So many months of planning and now we are just 1 day away from going home. Well, we plan to make it a really fun day and a great way to end our vacation!!!!

Universal Studios

Here is a quick peek at some more of our vacation. We visited Universal Studios and Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood. Universal Studios was great fun. The boys loved seeing where movies were made. It was pretty strange to see the set to a TV show that I have seen numerous times. We went on a tour and were shown some of the special effects like an earthquake and flashflood and also a shark attack. It was fun and the kids all enjoyed it. Well, except for Eden. It made her pretty nervous. After the day we went to Hard Rock Cafe. The boys thought it was great to walk around and see all the cool bands and instruments. I don't find much to that restaurant, but I knew the kids would love it. And we had a great time. This vacation is great. It is strange though because we spent so much time and effort in planning it, and now here we are. In fact we finished up our last day at Disneyland today. I was not too terribly sad to leave it behind tough. We are exhausted and we are ready to get to the more "relaxing" part of our vacation. My kids are just a mess, they are so tired and they just hit a wall tonight. They could just not do anymore. So it will be nice to be more laid back now. The beach is on the schedule for tomorrow and than Sea World. That will be fun!

More pictures real quick

We are switching hotels tomorrow and I might be losing my internet (so sad), so I am going to post just a few more pictures just for my enjoyment!!

We are having a BLAST!!!!!

This internet at the hotel is super slow, so this won't be much of an update but I will post a few pictures of the thousands I have taken. We are having a great time, when the kids aren't at Disneylant they are in the pool or passed out on the bed from all the excitement. I can't believe all we have been able to do. The park is wonderful first thing in the morning until about noon. That is when we get everything done. And then we go to the hotel for lunch and rest and then we are back at it for the evening. We've eaten at some fun places like ESPN zone (that was a hit with the boys) Goofy's Kitchen, and Rainforest Cafe. Despite a flat tire, Davis' lost train blanket, and a stolen stroller we are having a grand time. I am better with pictures than I am with words so I will just get onto the pictures. When I get home I am going to make a slide show of all of our pictures. I hope all is well with everyone at home.
