Well...they are getting nothin'

I went to the store yesterday, and they had a very nice looking santa sitting there with NO line. Poor santa. When is there never a line for santa, especailly when the pictures are free!! Well, not one of my kids would even go anywhere near him. None of my kids have a picture with santa, so I thought hey maybe I will do it this year, but NO. All three just turned the other way and said no. Ally gave him a little wave. So I told them on Christmas Eve, santa will just pass right over our house. Might as well just get our little Charlie Brown tree now.

PS I HATE the flu! My poor kids!

Snow Day!

We were warned that we were getting a big storm. Schools & stores were closing and activities got cancelled. My kids and I were home waiting for the storm to blow in, and for about an hour it did, but then it was gone and it didn't leave much snow. We were pretty bummed, but took advantage of what snow there was. Only problem was that along with the storm came super cold temperatures. It has only been 15 degrees today, but we had a fun time sledding with everyone.

Concentration the Stewart Way!

I am always making fun of Clark and the kids. They all have the habit of sticking out their tongue when they are focusing on something. Friday we were invited to Boondocks to celebrate Jake's 6th birthday. (Thankyou Ryan & Christine, and I hope you had a great day Jake.) The boys take their bowling very seriously!

Leaves

I heard the bus drive by today, but I saw just a blur as the boys ran in and back out. I heard them more than I saw them. They came running in long enough to throw their jackets and back packs at me and they were gone again yelling that they were going down the street with their friends to play in the leaves. Ally heard the words outside and play and she was gone too. So all I could do was grab my camera and follow her down the street to all the action.

Time to play

Now that we don't have football every night, we have time to play. Although we are not completely free (basketball is still going) alot of our evenings have opened up again. Davis had basketball practice tonight in Clearfield at the aquatic center. So while he was practicing the rest of us were swimming. Was that mean of us? He still got to join in the fun though after pracitce.

Another Ally story

Bubbles everywhere! Ally loves soap and water. And while I was in the shower today she was in the other bathroom making a big mess.

Minibowl

The big game came, and our boys played their little hearts out, but they didn't pull it off. I am proud of this team though, they were so committed to each other and took care of each other. It has been fun to watch them the last 3 months. But now football is over and already they are talking about next season. Thanks to everyone for supporting my kids in all they do.

Field trip & Class Parties

Owen went on the AR fieldtrip this week. I think it is great they reward the kids, for their hard work. I went along, bus and everything. He and his friends had a great time at the Dinosaur Park.

And Davis had a fall party at school. They did alot of fun activities. I was lucky enough to be helping in the room where they got large rocks and smashed corn (to make corn bread). 2 hours of that and I was ready to go home and take tylenol.

We've been so busy with sports and activities at the school that poor Ally has gotten worn out. She fell asleep the other day standing up. She had been watching tv, and just couldn't stay awake anymore. Too bad I had to wake her up and go again. Poor girl, just can't catch a break!

Dear Santa

Dear Santa,
I went to use my laptop tonight and it wouldn't turn on. I don't know what to do without my laptop, it has everything on there. I am SO sad, and VERY mad. So can you fit a new laptop in your bag this year just for me? Please.
