Like I said last night the boys went to Milford and Gator spent the night in Kaysville. The day after a holiday, and these kids are still looking for a party. We have to bring them down slowly, so we made plans for ice skating and swimming in Bountiful.
After hanging out with cousins all day, Gator was still wired and wanted to have Lainee over. We stopped by and picked her up on our way home. They decided 15 degrees wasn't too cold to walk to the hot tub bare foot in swim suits. Thursday, December 26, 2019

Christmas Day
Today was an awesome Christmas. I wouldn't have changed a thing, except maybe some snow, but I had a great day enjoying my kids and we were able to wake up and take it slow and just enjoy the day. I think I was the most excited about these dumb socks with Joey on them. I got a pair for each of them in their stockings. They all loved them too. This dog is one spoiled family pet, he is very loved. Davis and Owen got pretty much the same stuff. I get it for one, I know the other will love it too. Gator was excited with her blanket (she would take all the blankets) and a Lagoon pass. My family decided to do our party on Saturday this year, so we didn't have anywhere to be. We took our time this morning, then I made a big breakfast, and I took a nap while the kids relaxed and played some games on the Switch. We are doing our party this weekend, but we still went over to Krissy and PJ's for dinner. Gator spent the night and the boys are going to Milford in the morning with Dave & Sheila to get a gun safe moved.
I love making the books for the kids for Christmas every year. I hope they enjoy them and enjoy sharing them with their own family someday.Gator has been wanting some ski goggles, now she needs to try these new fancy goggles out.
More signs for his room.
Gator had this cute coat sent to her from an anonymous family member. We really do have awesome family that cares about us.
Two peas on a pod. Carhartt, a new hat, and truck accessories.

Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve is just about as exciting as Christmas morning. I love the excitement and anticipation for tomorrow morning. Owen had therapy and we relaxed at home, then the kids went to lunch with their dad for a little bit, then they came home and we went out for our ice cream treat. All that snow for Thanksgiving and here we are to Christmas and we are eating ice cream outside. I was hoping for snow for Christmas, but it just doesn't look like it will happen this year. We went over to Krissy and PJ's for our Christmas Eve party. We had dinner, dessert (no nut this year), the nativity, basketball, gifts, and lots of just hanging out. It was an awesome Christmas Eve.

Powder Mountain weekend
Carrie took over the condo when mom passed away. She has been up there once, but me and my kids haven't been up there since that weekend 4 years ago. Carrie booked it this weekend, and I wanted to go up and make some happy memories instead of the sad anxious ones that we've carried with us. We went up on Friday after school and it was so much fun!! Carrie along with her family, and Mat with his joined us and it was such a great time. We made so many fun memories and it was the best way to begin Christmas vacation. Friday we kicked back and worked on puzzles, and played games, the kids swam and soaked in the hot tub, we ate dinner and played Nintendo Switch, and stayed up really late. Saturday started off pretty lazy, but then the kids went down to the Lodge and we played basketball, Grace helped Gator with some volleyball, and Davis & Owen played pool. After lunch, Davis, Gator and Carrie went night skiing at Powder Mountain. I thought a lot of when we were kids skiing there, but this time I was just as happy to watch them. We stayed for a little bit to watch them ski, but then we went back up to the condo to play more games and eat dinner. After a while, they came home and quickly ate dinner then went back to the pool/hot tub. I was shocked that after all that Gator was still awake, but we stayed up even later Saturday night playing games, Switch, and doing a puzzle. Sunday morning, we got up and got ready to go to Nordic to go tubing. Owen left to go down to Kylee's family Christmas party and a doctors appointment this morning, but the rest of us had fun tubing. Even I went down the hill a few times. I am just so nervous in my old age, but now that I survived I can say that it was a lot of fun. I love watching and taking pictures most of the time, it is so much fun for me to watch my kids having a good time. Sunday evening we had dinner and most everyone was in bed by 9:00. We were exhausted from playing so much all weekend. Now we are home and hopefully we brought some of the snow with us so we can have a white Christmas. It's crazy how Thanksgiving was so full of snow, but now there isn't a single flake out there. Oh, Owens appointment went amazing. His doctor can't believe how he has recovered and he said 3 more months of therapy and he will be fully released to play football! I can't believe how fast his recovery has been. I know it has been painful and seemed slow at times for Owen, but he is really blessed to even have an injury like he did and still be able to play football. So we are home now with lots of fun memories and ready to celebrate Christmas. It will be a little different this year, with our new circumstances, but I'm ready. I'm ready for a fantastic Christmas with my kids and family! Now, here are a million pictures of our weekend.
