Good thing January is a pretty slow month, because I sure haven't been writing in my journal. Well, not slow as in us not being busy, just slow in the "fun" department. We've sure been busy with basketball and soccer. And the gym time is fun, I love supporting my kids in all they do. I am so grateful they are healthy and strong, and can participate on their teams, I'm just in some serious need of a day of no work and no sports and just us playing. It will come, we will break free of the gym and get some fun quality time.
Davis had a fun weekend last week. We had a 4 day weekend and he was invited up to Sun Valley to ski. He went with Dave & Sheila, and Ryan, Christine, and their family. At the end of 3 days he was ready to make the move up to Sun Valley, but I'm happy to say he did come home.
I was hoping that with the New Year, our trials would be a thing of the past, but nope. I had a small car fire on my way to work. Everything seems to be working fine, and I don't have the means to get the car in and looked at/fixed, so I'm going on a prayer that there isn't a big problem lurking underneath this small hole left behind.
It has been a very snowy month. Yesterday I told Gator we could go sledding. We had some games, and errands and laundry, but finally we were able to go sledding. We had such a fun time riding down the hill in the dark while it was snowing, we laughed the whole time.
Owen sent me this funny picture the other day. He said it just happened they were all sitting there, so they decided to pose and asked someone to take a picture. The kid knows me so well.
We didn't go anywhere, but we still had a funny time playing this game called Watch Ya Mouth. I lost bad, I just couldn't stop laughing.
