Carving Pumpkins
We spent the evening together carving pumpkins. I remember last year, we had donuts and cider for dinner after we carved our pumpkins. Well, we got a little better this year we still had cider, but instead of donuts it was pizza. I hope everyone is ready for a fun day tomorrow. Be safe and have a great time!!!

Pumpkin Walk
West Haven has a pumpkin walk every year. The 6th graders carve pumpkins and than they light them all and display them around the park and pass out candy. The kids love to go and it is fun to see the different designs. I definitely stick to the easier designs when I carve a pumpkin some of these were pretty detailed. Owen and Davis came up with their own costumes this year. Aren't they cute? I have been trying to get Ally to wear her costume for a few days now, but she always freaked out. Tonight she actually wore it, although she did have a sucker to suck on the whole time. Maybe that was the key!

We had a family dinner tonight to celebrate Grandpa Jones and Dave's birthdays. My boys were so excited when Sheila brought a cotton candy machine. I am surprised they don't have stomach aches with how much they ate. They might as well have just gotten a chair and had a seat by the machine for the rest of the night. I about died when I saw them go in the house for a minute and come out with a bowl of icecream. I was sick just watching them, but they just kept going and going and going. All that sugar made them so hyper, and they crashed hard tonight! They are sleeping very good now.

All good things come to an end
We had given the boys friends a Lagoon ticket for their birthday and yesterday was the day they cashed them in. The boys had so much fun. Their friends had never been to Lagoon before, and the boys enjoyed showing them around and acted like owned the place. And it was a great way to end this years season. Owen needed this fun evening to get his mind off his football game. He took the loss pretty hard. So long Lagoon, we will be back next year!

This is Blake and Ally's favorite new thing to do. They see each other and laugh as they lift up their shirts to show each other their belly buttons. They have such cute bellies!

Jack-o-lantern
I love this age. I think kids with missing teeth are so adorable! I told Davis he looked like a jack-o-lantern. He got a kick out of that. All his teeth are loose all of the sudden. Pretty soon he will have no top teeth either. His eyes look a little swollen and red. Well, it was pretty tramatic to get the tooth out, but everything is fine now and we are all friends again.

Soccer, Football, and Fires!
We had planned on going to lagoon tonight after the boys got done with their games, but we were all worn out. The games are hard on us moms and dads too. I think I get butterflies worse than my kids do. So we decided to stay home and "relax". We hadn't had a fire for awhile so we went and bought some hotdogs and stuff for smores and had a fantastic evening.

Toads
For a little treat for the boys doing so well in their games and Owen making his AR goal at school, we spent the evening at Toads. It is a fun place. They got to do lasertag, and go karts, and mini golf. Ally couldn't do the first 2 activities, so while the boys were busy we spent all their arcade tickets. She would not get off this little merry go round.

Icecream and bootcamp
We got together tonight to have a treat over at Rachelles. As always it was loud and crazy, but we had a good time! Rachelle kept saying that we need a bigger house to get together in, but I think all these kids would make any house seem too small. I say we just need a soundproof room and a good lock!

Andrea decided to put the kids to work. She put them through a little bootcamp. Now that was entertaining to watch. Way to go Dallin he did 22 pushups. Should we believe him?!? The kids thought it was fun, and funny. I need that attitude when it comes to exercise. "This is fun, this is fun, this is fun." If I say it enough maybe I will believe it.

Toy Story
After freezing on our 4 wheeler trip, we chose an indoor activity to do on Friday. One that was nice and warm and dry. We went to the double 3D feature of Toy Story. I have always been a Toy Story fan. My favorite is Mr. Potatoehead. The kids were so stylin' in the 3D glasses. I set off the alarm with these wonderful glasses on. We left Ally home with some cute neighbor girls so we weren't chasing her around the theater. Well, they were texting me during the movie, because my wonderful daughter was not cooperating. I got up to call them and walked right out the door with the glasses on. Well, I guess the theater is very protective of their glasses, because alarms started going off. Yea, I was embarrassed, mostly because on the door was a big sign that said to leave the glasses in the theater or an alarm would sound. Well, now I know!

It was SO cold!
Today the boys didn't have school so we wanted to make the most out the time. Usually we are rushing from school to training or practice or a game or scouts and it seems we have so little time lately to play together. Although watching them in their sports is fun, it is just stressful for me. I have to go up and see the beautiful leaves every fall. I just love the colors, especially the reds. Oh it makes me so happy. I think I drove my family nuts today talking about how much I love this time of year. But they humored me and just went along with their crazy mom. We took the 4 wheelers up with us and oh it was SO SO cold. As you can see there was snow where we went. Ally didn't enjoy the cold too much, but I couldn't get Clark and the boys to get off the 4 wheelers and go home. They had such a good time. No school tomorrow either. Yea! Another fun day.
