Grace's "c-ya" party

How on earth did I go the whole entire summer without knowing of this deal??  Fat Cats offers .99 cent bowling, golfing, and bumper cars all summer long on Monday-Thursday.  I may have just found out, but now that I know we will be working on our bowling skills.  And Fats Cats was also the perfect place for us to hang out with Gracie Girl one more time before she leaves for college in the morning.  No way is she old enough to go to college!!  It is so unbelievable to me, but she is heading to Colorado Northwestern to play volleyball, and we are so excited for her, but it doesn't mean we won't miss her terribly.
Lucy and Owen showing off that they each got a strike on this turn.  Owen may or may not have had bumpers though.  Acceptable for a 5 year old strike, but not an almost 14 year old if I do say so myself:)
Ally and her mini me!  I need to do a post comparing these 2 cuties.  Ivy looks just like Ally did at 6 months.  I figure their gene pool is fairly similar, I am actually surprised that it took until the baby for both of us to have such similar looking kiddos.
All these pictures today only happened because of a promise to visit Sub Zero afterwards.  Kindof a catch 22 for them though because yes they got a yummy treat, but they also had to have another picture taken!  I'm such a mean mom.  I didn't say anything to them, but my emotions were very high today with having to say c-ya to Grace.  I realized it will be me all to soon, sending one away to college or a mission, I've got to up my game with the pictures, I can't miss a single moment!

The group ones

I got an email from Andrea today with the group family pictures that her sister in law took a couple of weeks ago.  I love how they turned out, I think they look great! A group of awesome people that I love dearly.

One day I will learn

To not take these trouble makers to the store ever again!!!!  I just needed a few things, so I thought it would be safe, but at least they have fun I guess.

Free Ice Skating Day

We had swinter today.  We pretended like it was winter during the hot summer.  The break from the blazing hot sun was so nice, even if it was just for a couple hours.  The Ice Sheet was one of the free activities today.  I still am amazed at how good Ally is on those skates.  The boys and I make do with the wall close by, but she is doing laps around us.  Thanks to the Ice Sheet for a fun afternoon with my kids!
And just because we went up to Weber State to ice skate, we went to The Pie for lunch.  Whenever we go to Weber to skate, we eat at The Pie, it's a must.
Like the Pie pizza needs any more cheese Owen!

Career Women

Gator has always loved animals.  She just has a way with them, and has already chose her career.  She wants to have a pet day care when she grows up.  She draws pictures and wrote a paper at school about what she wants to be.  This week, she is living the dream and she is so happy.  Carrie and Wayne went on vacation and left their dog and turtle in our (Ally's) care.  She is doing a great job taking care of them and she has a fabulous, loving pet day care.

Bella gets this first class treatment every day.  She is a very spoiled dog, but her and Gator are really best friends.

Fighting Back

Mother Nature has turned the thermostat WAY up and it is way too hot, but we won't let it get us down, we will just spend more time in the pool!
