So Sad
While I had plenty of pictures of Owen and Gator making a sad face, I had to go pretty far back to Davis's "child from ****" days. Owen and Ally were the easiest babies in the world. Davis, although I love him dearly, is lucky he didn't get sold. He was one tough baby. Funny thing though, now Owen and Ally are high maintenance and hot or cold, but Davis is mellow and happy as can be. They definitely come prepackaged though. It has been tough, but fun beyond measure figuring out each of my kids. Once I think I do though, it changes. I am sure I have many more years of this guessing and hoping I am doing it right ahead of me.

Old Stomping Grounds
Lagoon opened for the 2012 season last weekend. And there go my kids like they own the place ready to find their old favorites!
I guess they are still working out some kinks, or training new employees cause Gator and I got stuck on Dinosaur Drop. She thought it was pretty funny, but I didn't want to spend all afternoon up in the air luckily after 10 minutes or so we were back on the ground.

Crystal Hot Springs
Last day of Spring Break and it snowed, quite a bit. I was a little apprehensive of keeping our plans we had made, but I am so glad that we did. I just thought 32 degrees was a little cold to go swimming outdoors, but Crystal Hot Springs was so much fun. Oh the water felt so good, I am seriously thinking of going up there when the kids are in school, to just soak. The kids talked me into going on the waterslide, but I refused to join in their game of running from the nice hot water, jumping straight in the freezing cold pool. They were on their own for that one. But I sure enjoyed watching them and their facial expressions.

Tracy Aviary Favorites
We spent the day yesterday visiting Tracy Aviary. I've heard of this place, but I've never taken my kids there. I think that is going to be a summer activity, going and finding new places to visit. We had a great time and saw lots of cool birds. My favorite was the Toucan, Owens is always the Bald Eagles he has loved those since he was little. Davis said his favorite were these burrowing parrots, he said they were his favorite because he got to hold them. He also enjoyed the owls. And Gator had a favorite, the flamingos. Yes, because they were pink!

After the Aviary, the kids had a great time playing at Liberty Park. We had taken kites and scooters and bubbles along with a picnic lunch with us. All that didn't hold their attention for too long though, Davis set his eyes on the big hill and came up with a great plan. He took his scooter right up to the top and came flying down, before I could stop him. That hill provided alot more fun for the kids than anything I brought along. I loved the day. We had a very fun day!!

And after everyone was sunburned and exhausted we stopped by mom and Colins for a movie. The kids love his 3D TV.

Like pulling teeth
Oh my word, I was uber frustrated with my 3 beautiful children. Well, Ally is a diva so she enjoys getting her picture taken most of the time, but the boys talk about a fit. I've been wanting to go and get new pictures of the kids taken, but I am rethinking that after yesterday. When we were at Tracy Aviary they had some spring flowers and I just nicely asked them to sit down and let me snap a quick picture. I really hope it was just cause they were excited and wanted to see everything, and not sit still for a picture. But a quick picture turned into about 40 attempts, and all but these got deleted. Little stinkers!

A day in the park
It was one of those days, where we didn't have any plans, but we just needed to get out of the house. So the kids and I loaded up the car and took off to a park close by. We had a great time, and before we knew it we had been gone for 3 hours and the snow finally got the best of us. Crazy spring weather for ya, but the wind that brought in the storm was great kite flying weather.
We took along bikes and scooters
Kite flying

Played baseball

Enjoyed one of our favorite snacks, graham crakers with frosting

And played on the swings (which in my old age now makes me nauseous)

And apparently a helmet is required for all activities in the park.
