Birthday fun!

Krissy and I had a party for Lucy and Ally tonight with the Stewarts. It makes it pretty easy that her and I are married to brothers. Good thing we get along though because everything for my family we do together, everything for Stewarts we do together. The kids had a great time playing and it was so nice and warm outside they got to play out there for a bit. It is funny how fast kids get the hang of birthdays. Lucy is one and had no clue what was going on, but Ally, is an old hand at this birthday stuff, after all this is her 2nd one. She knew all about the gifts (yes, there is the Stewart trademark, the tongue is sticking out) and cake (look at the darling cupcakes Krissy made) and candles. It was a fun evening, thankyou to everyone!

Ever have that feeling?

I have not ever been able to sit and watch the whole movie "Groundhogs Day" because it is so boring to me, the same thing over and over and over. But that is the rut I feel as if I am in right now. Our days are pretty routine lately. I guess that can be considered a good thing though right, at least nothing bad is happening!!

Ally's new "bows".... not recommended

Davis got a track for Christmas that has these little battery ran cars, and Ally loves to watch him play with it. The last few days, he has left it out, and Ally has been so excited because she took this as free reign to play with it. Well, tonight she ran into a little problem with the cars. Something that we never had to deal with with the boys and short hair. She got them tangled up pretty good, I had to cut a few chunks of her hair to get the cars out. Although I don't think Davis has to worry about her getting in the way anymore, she wouldn't go near the track the rest of the night!

Night with the BIG trucks!

Last night, we went to the monster truck show. It was Ally's first year going, and I think she enjoyed it just as much as her brothers. Although she was quite upset about the "broken" cars. The boys favorites this year were Monster Mutt & Grave Digger. We have been every year since owen was a year old, and it is always fun!

Ally made it on the jumbotron. She had no clue though because she was too busy watching the show.

All the time and money these drivers spend on their trucks and this is what excites the crowd.

But above it all, this is what the boys are still talking about. They got to get all the drivers signatures this year and they thought that was SO cool!

Signs of Spring!!

Spring Fever is starting to set in. Today was a bright sunny day, and we just couldn't resist going outside. It was still a bit chilly, but spring is definitely on it's way!

Group Birthday

As the family grows, it is getting harder and harder to plan birthday parties, that everyone can make it to. So tonight we decided to have a party for the birthdays in the first 3 months of the year. We had dinner and a cake for Parker, Davis, Lucy, Grace & Ally. The kids had fun playing outside, and thank you Lu, Collin & Ty for going outside in the dark cold to find my keys. I am very grateful that I could make it home!

Birthdays are fun!!

"Birthdays are fun", that is Davis said tonight before he fell asleep. He likes being 7 years old. We had a great day together celebrating. Clark and I had to get our taxes done today, not fun for a birthday, but our accountant took Davis (and the rest of us) out to icecream. So I didn't feel too guilty about making the appointment for his birthday after that.

As usual he talked us into letting him open a present last night.

He was so excited to have his room decorated that he wanted me to do this last night also. He said he would still be suprised when he woke up.

And today we had a fun party at Boondocks. Thankyou so much to everyone that was able to make it, we love playing and hanging out with our family!

My little bit of Spring

Thank you Andrea for my little bit of Spring. It was nice of you to think of me and bring me this gift.

I LOVE that sound!

I babysat Collin, Ty and Blake that other night and I was making dinner. The "babies" as they were called were banished from the basement, so they were upstairs with me in the kitchen. Blake and Ally were running around the table and then they saw the fish tank, and that kept them entertained for a good 10 minutes. Of course when I got my camera out, they stopped and just wanted to smile so this little clip doesn't due it justice. It was so dang cute, they were each standing on one side and looking at each other through the glass and laughing so hard. I love to hear kids laugh like that. It does my heart good.
