Ally was not so excited, she was too busy catching up on sleep lost the night before. Poor girl just isn't feeling so great.
Then we were on to our next stop. Another "Man Vs. Food" location. And no, no one attempted this food challenge. The host of the show, Adam Richman, ate a pizza with 18 habanero peppers on it. It was a fun place called Flying Pie Pizzeria. And I have to say it was the BEST pizza I have ever eaten. And that is alot coming from me, because I am not that big of a pizza fan, but oh man this place was yummy.
And also look at this way cool bathroom. This was the ladies room. And even though I just had to sneek a peek of the mens room also, I didn't take the time to snap any pictures. But it was painted all up in a Pirate theme. What a very fun restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone coming up to Boise, yes for more than just the cool bathrooms!
With very full tummies, although Davis was very careful not to get too full, we drove out to our friends house. And the kids were so excited to go fishing. To get to Chads "spot" we had to wade across the river, which in itself was quite the adventure. It got pretty deep in spots......
but it was very worth it.
After numerous fishing trips this year with Davis, he finally caught a fish. And what a cute little fish it was it wasn't much bigger than a sardine, but look at that smile!!
And now on to the scarey part of our day. We went tubing down Indian Creek. Now I went tubing a few times when I was little, but I don't ever remember being scared like this. Maybe because this time I had my own 3 children with me. Well, we loaded the tubes and everyone was so excited, but it didn't take long before I had all 3 kids crying and screaming to get out. At one point Davis, Ally and I got seperated from everyone else and I kidna freaked out, but then we came upon Owen who was NOT happy at all. Clark came along a bit later, and tied Owen to my raft. So I had all my kids with me and we got ahead of the guys by quite aways. Well, we got to a pretty rough spot in the river, and went over a fall (and I swear at the time it could have been a 20 ft. waterfall)!!! It was scarey. We got stuck on a rock, and the water was rushing around us, and the raft was filling with water. I had all three kids crying and screaming and I was crying and screaming. What was I going to do?!? Chad came up and tried to kick us loose, but the current pushed him right on by. Clark came up and jumped off his tube, which in hindsight probably wasn't too smart, but it was the only thing that got us off the rock. Oh my heck, I was scared! After that I couldn't get Ally calmed down and the boys wanted to get out, so we got to a point where we could climb out and Chad and Clark went on ahead and came back in the car to get us later. I am very grateful to say that we are all back to the hotel safe and sound. I don't think we will be doing that again anytime soon.
Obviously these pictures were taken before our tramatic situation, we were all still smiling, and were dry. Although now, later, the boys say they had a great time, me I am not quite ready to admit that yet.
