Snowstorms

Winter finally decided to come.  We had a huge storm, with  more in the forecast.  I've got a  couple of party pooper boys who think sledding is lame, but Gator still loves it.

Fun finally

We've had a 4 day weekend.  I scheduled some doctors appointments on Friday, then we had our taxes done, and the cars needed oil changes.  We know how to have fun on a 4 day weekend right!  But today we finally had a fun day.  Everyone we know has seen The Greatest Showman, and we've all wanted to go see it, so today we finally went.  We drove to Farmington Station because Davis and Gator also had birthday money they wanted to spend, and we wanted to try a restaurant for lunch.  The movie was fantastic, I think a new favorite.  Which is odd because we aren't musical fans, but it was awesome!  After the movie we went to Blaze pizza, it's like Pieology.  It was good, but we decided we liked Pieology better.  Gator wanted to go to Build A Bear to make a new totally not needed stuffed animal to go along with her other 75, and Davis bought a new pellet gun.   Since he got his hunters safety he wants to start hunting more.  Fun much needed day with my favorite people.

Lots of games

We are going crazy here, so may games!  Fremont is going into playoffs soon, Rocky made it to the playoffs and dang it they lost.  Davis missed 2 games with his injury, and he was cleared to play the day before the game, but he just wasn't 100%.  But he is back to the gym training and working hard, and weight lifting at Fremont for football season.  Gator is playing basketball and indoor soccer, as well as play rehearsals for a play she wanted to do.  These kids are crazy.  Owen has 2 jobs, and works hard on his grades, Davis has a job and is really working hard to get good grades, and praying we get at least one more storm to ski before the end of the winter.  All of them keep very busy social lives, I honestly don't know how they keep up, they are amazing to me and I love trailing along.
Gators favorite part of basketball games is when cousins come to support.
When my dad came into town for Carrie's surgery and the basketball game, we went out to dinner on Saturday afternoon, then to Josh & Rachelle's to watch some Olympics.
Dates after school.

Region Champs

Back in November when basketball season was just starting, the papers and sports writers rank the teams.  Fremont was no where on the radar, they weren't even talked about as a contender for the best in the region.  The season started out a little iffy, but they really grew together as a team, and tonight they won the region championship!!

The party to make it "offical"

Today was National Signing Day.  Even though Owen technically signed in December, today was the big deal!  He is now an Idaho State Bengal.  So completely crazy, but even more completely exciting!!  From the very beginning, Owen said he was going to play college football, he never lost sight of that goal.  I am so proud of him.

Not the way they wanted

The Patriots made it to the Superbowl again, and the way the game was going, it looked like it was going to be another game exactly like last year.  But, they didn't pull it off this year, dang it.

Happy 15th Davis!!

For some reason I am having the hardest time with each birthday Davis has.  I simply cannot believe that he is 15. I've done it before with Owen and it just didn't phase me like it is with Davis.  I hate that they are growing up.  I love all that they are doing, but I hate that soon they will be gone.  All of them, it makes me so sad.
Friday, I left work and got Davis lunch and some cookies to pass around during lunch break.  Next year, I will be so sad to not have a kid at Rocky Mountain.
Friday night Davis went out with some friends.  He is the one that is always in the middle of something and stressing me out.   Friday night was no different.  He called me and told me a story of them going to McDonalds, but they never made it to McDonalds.  A high speed chase changed those plans.  One of the cop cars that was chasing the car hit their car and kept right on going.  These kids had no clue what to do, so they drove home and his friends mom called 911.  A cop came out to the house to get police reports and make sure everyone was okay.  I didn't believe him until I pulled up to his friends house and there was a cop car in the driveway.  15 will be a Birthday Davis won't forget.
By time he got home on Friday night, it was midnight, so February 3rd.  Time for the birthday balloons to come out, 15 of them, with 15 treats tied to the string.
Lunch at his favorite restaurant....Buffalo Wild Wings, and free ice cream.
He took off his boot and played in a game, he said it didn't hurt, but his doctor (Ryan) is not very happy.  Davis just said he was sick of sitting and watching and it was his birthday so he could play.
Davis's friends came for a visit while we were at his game and left this cute poster.
And now they've left for a movie with friends.  I do love that my boys can hang out together with the same friends.  1. I don't have to drive Davis around 2. They can watch out for each other and keep each other good 3. I only have to text one of them and I can get an update of where they both are.

Mr Fremont

Owen was nominated Mr Fremont this week.  It was a week long activity ending today in a talent show and assembly.  He didn't win, but it was hilarious and he had a fun week participating.
The beginning of his talent.  It was on being tall and he opened with "I wasn't born with my talent, I just sorta grew into in."  He did a great job, it was funny!
 The nominees doing a dance.
Gator got to be his escort, she was so excited.
One of the lunch activities was a pie eating contest.
