What an awesome winter we have had this year. Well, I guess if you love snow it has been awesome. We have had one storm after another. Although I will say Spring Fever is setting in a little bit after that warm up we had last week, but yesterday another 8+ inches of snow fell, so today after church we went out back and had a blast! Clark was home this time, and he is alot crazier than me on the 4 wheeler. The boys said, this was a good family home evening, and the lesson was to not trust dad on the 4 wheeler. They crashed a ton, but I think that was the goal. The snow cave got a lot bigger than last time. All of us fit in there, the kids wanted to sleep outside, but darn it is a school night.

Monster Fun
Last night, we went to the monster truck show. We've been going for quite a few years, and it's always a fun evening! Grave Digger is a crowd favorite, so even though there are always some new fun trucks, you just gotta cheer for Grave Digger.
This year one of the new trucks was called Mohawk Warrior. Once Davis saw this truck, his loyalty shifted and he now has a new favorite.
All the kids liked his hand gesture though. The "M" and "W"
Ally got a little gangster streak in her cheering for the Mohawk Warrior.
But once she found out that the Dalmation Monster Mutt was driven by a girl, she only had one favorite truck to cheer for.
Davis thought stroking his own Mohawk was good luck, or a secret signal between him and the driver of the truck.

My Valentines
Tonight for Valentines day, my kids were my dates. We went to Kaysville Theater and watched Wreck it Ralph. It was a very cute show, and besides Davis and Ally not feeling well with stupid colds, it was a fun evening together. Love you guys.....so so much!

Liked the idea
I liked the post last month of just random pictures and things we've been doing. I figured it doesn't need to be an outing or anything formal for me to post. I use my phone all the time for quick pictures or when I don't have my camera and so I decided once in a while I will just do a random post of whatever is on my phone. The pictures aren't great cause they are just with my phone, but they still capture some fun moments. Ally had pajama day at school. Her and her friend Lilly are a litte too much alike. I feel bad for their teachers, but they seem to be able to handle them just fine. Friday was also "Be a Friend Friday", and Gator said her and Lilly will always be friends.
Davis's teacher called me this same day saying Davis just wasn't doing very good. He has had a cold and it is affecting his breathing. He has been pretty miserable. Well, his friend, Parker, didn't go to school that day either, he was just having a rough morning. I just have to say that these boys have the best mothers around hands down. They "sluff" school and get to go out to lunch and then play Skylanders and XBox all afternoon. Owen had a late basketball practice, and I didn't really want to drag Ally and Davis out in the snow. Plus I just needed a minute to sit and do nothing. So I got them a movie and they were all excited to stay home in my bed and watch it. I was only gone for about 1 1/2 hours, but they were obviously exhausted because I came home to this.
By the end of a day, the boys are pretty tired of having Gator follow their every move, but Gator loves mornings cause they love her all over again. She usually gets some pretty good attention in the mornings. Like graham crackers and milk while mom is in the shower.
Gator gave me a tattoo during FHE last night. She trys so hard to listen, but sometimes, we lose her in the lesson.
"P" day at preschool
On our way to church. I was teasing Davis in his pink. But he doesn't care, he likes pink. He is hoping to find a Valentine:-).
And this is just a funny pic of Gator. She is a silly girl, and was just kicking it in bed with my boots on brushing her teeth. She couldn't stand to miss even a second of her show.
And thank you Pinterest for this years Valentines. Quick and easy, everyone is happy.

Toads
Davis got a Toads pass for his birthday and Owen already had one, so yesterday was the perfect day to go and play some games. They did some laser tag and mini golf and the arcade.
Ally beat me in Air Hockey. In the last second she scored the winning goal.
Even these little games are a big competition for my boys. Everything is a contest with them, and it drives me nutso.
The boys thought they could teach Ally a thing or two, but she got more tickets than them on this game. Maybe beginners luck?
She was so sad, her favorite ride wasn't on.
This miniture golf course was so fun. One of the best ones around as far as the way it is painted and stuff.
I guess it is too stressful for a tired 4 year old though.
Davis's friend Jaden came along. These 2 have been friends since they were 2 & 3.
Not quite sure what he is doing here. I do know he was sick of me taking pictures though. He's probably thinking "oh my gosh, just make her put that thing away already".

A bit of spring fever
Gator and Bella had spring fever today. The snow has stopped for now, and the skies are blue today. I love winter, but I am always ready for the change of seasons. It was a beautiful day and we went for a walk. With it being so cold, Gator hasn't chatted with her horse friends lately, (we do have to drive slowly by them every time though so she can unroll her window and scream her hellos out the window). Daisy was happy to see Gator walking down the street toward her. It really was a pretty day outside today.

Birthday first then Superbowl
Davis was so excited his birthday fell on Superbowl Sunday this year. We had a great party, and a lot of fun. Thank you to everyone that came and helped us celebrate Davis. He is a great kid with a big heart and a fun personality. He is a very hard worker when it comes to his school and his sports. But he loves to hang out and play in his spare time. He is a very happy easy going kid unless you are teasing him about his pretty eyelashes or dimples, then he gets a little sensitive. D Stew, we love you so much, hope you had a fun birthday!
Neither Owen's or Davis's team made it to the Superbowl this year, but they were both cheering for The Ravens. And it got pretty intense in the 4th quarter. I went downstairs and the 3 boys were hiding behind the couch at one pointBut they sure got excited when The Ravens pulled off the win!

Davis's Birthday take one
As I was planning Davis's birthday party with him, all he wanted to do was play football. I mentioned sledding because we actually have snow this year, but he really wanted to invite friends over to play football. Well, with all the snow we couldn't exactly do that in the backyard, so we went to an indoor field and Davis invited some of his friends to play flag football. It was a fun party, the boys got to run and be wild and crazy and it was minimal work and best of all minimal mess! With the colors he wanted for his party, bet you can't guess who he is hoping to win tomorrow in the Super Bowl. Yep, the Ravens. He is so excited to have his birthday on Super Bowl Sunday, and we have another super fun party planned. Lucky duck!
