Friday morning we woke up early to head down south. The drive down only had one blooper, and it had nothing to do with the fact that Dave let Owen drive his brand new truck down. Davis pulled the handcuffs for his costume out and got stuck. They had a safety release, but it didn't work. We ended up having to call Dave and Owen in front of us and have them pull over to have Dave break them off his wrist. This was funny the first time he did it, but what was really funny was that he did it 2 other times during the weekend.
We spent Friday in Milford visiting Grandma Stewart. Dave had some vacation days that he had to take, so they also went down for the deer hunt opening on Saturday, but Friday they hung out with us. We took the kids horseback riding. I'm happy that Dave's cousin has horses, and that he is more than happy to let the kids take them out riding for the afternoon.
After visiting Milford, the kids and I drove to Toquerville. The Halloween Carnival was this weekend and since our schedules all worked out, we wanted to spend Fall Break down South.
Now, it is late and I'm exhausted. We have school & work tomorrow, and the only advantage of going tomorrow is that we are working toward another day off next Friday. The only way to get to that day off is to go, so I will go to work because I've already got some fun plans for next Friday.
