Another weekend in Pocatello

Originally the spring game was supposed to be this weekend, so Ryan and Christine booked an AirBnB in Pocatello for the whole family to stay the weekend and go watch the spring game. Well, ISU rescheduled the spring game to last weekend, and the place wasn't available for rent last weekend, so they just decided to keep it and invite everyone up for a weekend together.  The old church was a fantastic place for everyone to fit comfortably and it had been remodeled so beautifully.  I like my own bathroom, but the locker room style bathroom was totally fine for the weekend.  On Saturday we went to Bear World and had lunch at a cute hole in the wall place in Rigby Christine suggested called The Great Bambino.

The zip line was a big hit.  So was their made up game of zip line dodge ball.

The climbing wall said "no climbing" because they were waiting for the harnesses to come in, but Davis doesn't follow many rules.
Lots of basketball and lightning was played.  Just for the record, I got Davis out one round and Owen another in lightning.
No matter how many girls they added to their team, Owen and Davis still beat them.
Gator got caught between Owen and Davis mimicking the girls when they made a basket.
When these two get together it is almost like they are 8 and 5 years old again.  I love it.
By time I took a picture, some had gone to bed, but this is most of the grandkids.

Our weekend

Gator and I went to Pocatello this weekend.  There was a spring scrimmage yesterday at ISU so we made an appointment at the temple Friday and spent the night at Owen and Kylee's.  I went at 4;30 to do an endowment session and Kylee dropped Gator off at 6:00 to do baptisms.  We finished up at about the same time and went out to dinner with Owen and Kylee.  It was a pretty rainy day, and I had been waiting all day for a rainbow and oh my gosh was there ever a beautiful one at dinner.  I went outside to see it and I don't think I have ever seen such a complete, vivid, defined rainbow.  It was amazing.  Spending time at Owens is fun, it's nice to see them since we don't get to see each other as often.  It's all part of growing up, I get it, but I don't always like it.  Saturday morning Owen had to be at the field early so we got ready, went to the bakery, and a craft fair then to the game.  After football, and hanging out a little bit more, Gator and I headed home.  We had some treats to deliver and a new baby mini horse to go see.  We'll be back to Pocatello next weekend.  Ryan and Christine rented a place for everyone to go stay for the weekend.
Gator thought she'd get to sleep in since it was a Saturday.  Steele and Willow had something else in mind though.
Pretty sure that #7 QB is thankful for a strong player like Owen to protect him.
These pictures are from different practices that were snapped by a photographer and Owen sent them to me.
Pepper, the baby mini horse. She fell right to sleep in Gators arms.

Pictures for their own place

Davis and Kin are moving into their own apartment next month.  They had some pictures taken to hang up.  Her mom is a photographer, so the pictures they have always look so good, plus they are just cute to start.

Easter Weekend

Gator and I had an appointment at the Provo City Center Temple, so we stole Eden and went there and visited the Orem, Provo, Saratoga Springs, and Lindon temples as well.  While in Saratoga Springs we got some ice cream, and Gator saw a Puppy Store and wouldn't go home until we had gone in there.  The Provo City Center Temple is absolutely beautiful.  I mean all temples are, but this one just tops them all, in my opinion.  It is so fun going into all the Utah temples.

Last night Gator went to a play with Eden and Lucy and I told Krissy I would babysit the little kids while her and PJ went out so we spent the night.  We made cookies and stayed up way too late watching a movie.  After an awesome Easter Sacrament meeting we came home and Owen and Kylee came over for dinner. Davis and Kin came over later for dessert.  I love the spring blossoms on all the trees and I wanted a new picture for my phone so I told the boys they got homemade cookies so I got a new family picture.
On the way home from Kaysville earlier we stopped at the Layton and Syracuse temples to get a picture.
