Dental Work

Owen had been complaining of his wisdom teeth hurting, and it was time for a cleaning and exam anyway, so we went to the dentist this morning.  My kids have great teeth, and Gator is the only one that has ever had a cavity.  Today she had a little one surface cavity and asked them to clean it and fill it without the numbing.  She is tough!  Those wisdom teeth that had been bothering Owen, well, they are gone.  Poor kid goes in for an exam and gets hit with some minor oral surgery.  The dentist offered to pull them today, so we figured it was as good a time as any and they numbed him up and out they came.  Davis got off easy, xrays and a teeth cleaning and he was outta there playing basketball. 

 

Obviously before he knew what was going to be happening.

 A little pre numbing....

 He was so funny.  He's never been numbed before at the dentist, and he was playing with his tongue.  He was quite entertaining.  Still before he knew what he was in for. 

 Owen fashion, look at those monsters.  The dentist just laughed, commenting on how these were probably the biggest wisdom teeth he's seen in his 40 years of denistry.  He's pretty miserable tonight, but he's tough, just down for a couple of days.
