After a long winter with record snowfall, the only thing that can be expected in the spring is flooding. Gator and I drove up to Pineview last Sunday afternoon to see the water levels in the river and it was kind of scary how fast the water is moving. The rivers are full, and the other day they closed the canyon because the water is overflowing and had caused the road to erode. It isn't just the canyon flooding, fields, parking lots, and parks are full of water. The weather reported that we are only 1/3 of the way through the snow. We've got a long ways to go.
Grace and Lu take Carrie on a Mothers Day road trip every year. They were on their way home from Jackson Hole last week and called Owen to see if he and Kylee were available for lunch.
Davis and Kin are moving into a new apartment. This one is in Layton. Joey was nervous he'd be forgotten as they were moving stuff in and out. I had him for most of the week until they got settled, he was happy to be home.
Gator is volunteering at Freedom Riders. It is a program for special needs kids where they get to ride horses and prepare for a rodeo.
