This years model

Last year it was a Crayon Box, this year it was a Hot Dog. Tonight was the Pinewood Derby, and we made it through. It was a pretty intense hour, but everyone came out a winner. All the scouts had a great time!

Owen had his own (VERY loud) cheering section!

NeW FaVoRiTe PaSsTiMe

If my boys have a free day with their choice of what to do, this is what they will pick everytime. They LoVe fishing lately. We thought it would be a good Sunday family activity so we went for a couple hours yesterday afternoon and this is what Owen caught...

He was pretty proud of himself. It was a nice looking fish, and the people that we gave it to, enjoyed it also. I just can't bring myself to take them home and clean them yet, but I am sure if the boys continue to enjoy fishing I will have to learn. Davis was excited for Owen, but his comment was funny. Davis is great at casting his hook clear the heck out, and Owen struggles with it a bit. Davis said (yelled) "he casts those sissy casts and get's THAT!" Nothing like good brotherly love right!

And some more Lagoon photos. We went on Saturday with Mat and Andrea. The boys were so excited to go with Connor. They just think they are ol' pros at this Lagoon thing and love to show others around. But the boys were worn out, and Connor just kept on going and going. Owen and Davis still liked watching though from the bench with their snowies.

I went to the restroom the other day. I wasn't even gone for 30 seconds (yes, after three kids, I have learned to pee very fast)!!! I came out and Ally was gone, that is never a good sign.

And the guilty person is.....

I saw these pj's and had to get them, they fit her perfect!!

Another Family Birthday

This months birthdays that we celebrated tonight were Dallin, Ty and Grandma Johns. We had dinner over at Krissys, and spring is finally here so we grilled outside and stayed out and enjoyed each others company. It was a fun evening and as always my kids had a blast.

Poor worms!

The boys had such a good time last year in fishing class that I signed them up again. So for the next few weeks we will be spending our Wednesday evenings at the pond, playing with dirty wiggly worms and trying to catch stinky wiggly fish! Definitely a boys sport!! Although Ally sure wanted to join in on the fun.

A for effort

Well, we tried. That is all I can say. I think we had Clarks friend so frustrated by the end of the hour that he will never offer to take our pictures again. Plus I feel so horrible, we were at this old church and he just had his camera and left everything else (computer, tripod, lenses, etc.) in his car. And it was all stolen right out of his car. I felt so bad especially because my car was right next to his and my computer and purse and ipod were sitting right on my front seat. So after that and having to deal with a very cranky two year old he will probably just ignore our phone calls and attempts to communicate from here on out. He really did a good job though and after I learn how to use photoshop so I can swap some heads around we will have a great family picture. So these are the unedited version. Anyone want to help me learn how to use photoshop?

Again...pease!

You come to our house and this show will be on the TV. Ally wants to watch "horses" over and over and over. And as soon as it is over, she says "uh oh, again pease." She is either busy playing outside or inside watching her show and playing with her babies. Her life is still pretty simple. All my kids have had a show that they have been attached to. Owen would cry in the middle of the night for "my Bob." We were watching Bob the Builder at all hours of the day and night with him. He even had a Bob doll. Don't mention it to him though because of course he is much to cool now to ever of had a doll.

Davis' favorite was Thomas the Train. A little more enjoyable than Bob if you ask me. He loved anything trains and owned numerous videos of Thomas. At least he gave us variety, Ally will only watch one certain My Little Pony movie. And to this day, Davis still sleeps with his "train blanket", although he doesn't drag it around the house anymore, he still makes sure it is safely under his comforter every night.

Last Day of spring break

Well, the boys went to school again today. They were so funny, they almost didn't believe me when I said it was a school day and to hurry so they didn't miss the bus. I wonder why they didn't believe me?!?! We had a very fun time together during spring break though. It was so busy. But that is how we do things, always running from one place to another. So on Sunday we went and got Lu for a sleep over and then took the front runner to Salt Lake for a day at the Kids Museum. The kids were bummed that they didn't have the same days off school. Livia's first was our last, but they did have one great day playing and hanging out.

Remember this place?

Yes, Lagoon is open for the 2010 season. When my kids found out they were opening this weekend they were not going to let the cold weather stop them. It was so nice, between the cold, and people being out of town the kids were able to do everything they wanted to do sometimes 3 or 4 times. How they can do Wicked 4 times in a row is beyond me. But that is what they did and than they got off and ran straight for the Spider. I was feeling ill after one ride. Clark and I are just getting old I guess. Well, here is to another Lagoon season!

Grandmas Easter Egg Hunt

Ooh this is a very cold Easter. I remember last year the wind was blowing, but it was a pretty warm wind. Not this year, it was just down right cold. But to keep up with tradition we all went to Farmington to join in an easter egg hunt at Grandma Johns' carecenter. Look at how cute we are with the easter bunny!! Yes, I did feel very silly posing with this easter bunny but hey it made for a cute picture. (Right! Please make me feel better about this one)

Spring Break day #2

Friday we took the kids to the Hill Airforce Museum. They love going here to look at the planes. This time we found a learning center that we hadn't noticed before. They could've spent hours there dressing up and playing computer games and doing different activities. We went with some friends from the neighborhood and besides being very cold, we had a great afternoon! One more day of Spring Break, I will make it. Spring Break is always a realization that summer vacation is just a couple months away. Oh boy I better prepare!
