Easter Eggs
On our way to Salt Lake for football games today, we stopped by at an Easter Egg hunt at Grandmas care center. Her home is ran by a very nice man who has an egg hunt every year as well as a Halloween party and a swimming party in the summer for the residents families. It's not much of a "hunt", but the kids still have fun gathering candy.

Pinewood Derby
The Pinewood Derby was tonight. I sat by a new scout mom, and she just looked so scared and in shock. I kindly moved closer to her and gave her a little hug and made sure she was ok. You know, I am an old scout mom and I've been through the Pinewood Derby before. It was be pretty intimidating for me Owens first year as well, something that us moms just have no idea about. Davis did a great job on his car, he knew what he wanted and no one was going to tell him otherwise. He was very pleased with how it turned out.

New Job
We are in football mode again. During indoor season, we are in Salt Lake all day on Saturdays with games and practice and traffic. So we usually grab dinner after the games. Salt Lake is very crowded, and there are lines everywhere. Last night we had to wait an hour to be sat. Davis entertrained himself well. He stood at the street corner and waved to all the cars. If the NFL doesn't pan out for him, he has options. Give him a sign or a hot dog costume and the kid is set.

Runaway
Now that Ally can ride her bike, she thinks she is so grown up. She doesn't realize she is still just 4 years old, and there are certain things 4 years olds shouldn't do. Like going on a bike ride alone. I hadn't seen her for awhile and I began looking for her. The boys had buddies over, and I guess she wanted to play with a friend too. And sure enough she had taken off on her bike and gone to see her primary teacher. When I found her she was happily helping to decorate for Easter by hanging plastic eggs on her teachers trees. I went home and let her stay for a little bit. She came in the door about 20 minutes later with a big smile on her face. And now I should go hide her bike, until I can have a nice long chat with her about what 4 years olds can and can't do.

Indoor Football
The boys began their indoor football season today. They are both playing the center position again, so that makes me happy because I love to hear them get their team all called in by raising their arms in the air and yelling "Huddle". I know silly but it makes me smile. They both played their little hearts out, and loved every second of it. Davis is #41 & Owen is #46. Ally...worked hard at staying entertained. It was a 2 person job, so not much football for me. I did, however, bring some cards and she settled for Go Fish while I was watching football. I can't forget those cards next week!

St. Patricks Day
Normally our leprechaun leaves a trail of clovers with a green treat, but this year he got creative and set up a scavenger hunt. Owen & Davis are non believers (but not party poopers, they enjoy it just as much as ever) of a little green man visiting their house during the night and leaving clovers and green pee in the toilet and a small treat (no not in the toilet)but they have fun with Ally and play along with her. Ally thought it was great that he decided to take a nap in her doll bed.

Spring is coming
Well, I think we have gotten over the disappointing winter we had this year. It has been a beautiful week and we are looking forward to spring. The kids didn't have school today so we went to a park and blew bubbles, flew kites, fished, and played on the playground. All fun spring time activities.

Wow, I was having a bad camera day. Hopefully it just needs to be cleaned or something.

Big day for a little girl
Today we were going to the bus stop to get Gators boys, and she wanted to take the training wheels off her bike. I thought she was too young, but my mind thought back to Owen and Davis, and I had a sad moment and realized she WAS old enough to take the training wheels off her bike. It took her all of about 20 minutes, and one pretty good tumble and now she is a pro. And the bike I bought her last year for her birthday, thinking it would be a good size for 2 years, is much too small. So much for thinking ahead. She grew too fast.

Look how cute and little Owen and Davis look on their first day riding a bike without the training wheels. Oh my gosh it was a huge fight tonight. The boys memories were a bit faded. They had themselves riding bikes by the time they were 2. If I had let the fight keep going it probably would've gotten down to 1 or earlier. But thanks to my obsession with taking pictures, I was able to settle the fight, and the boys hated the fact that Gator was the youngest at 4 and a day. Owen learned right after his 5th birthday and Davis was 4 1/2. Oh boy, I have many more arguments ahead of me with my competitive children, better keep my camera on hand!

Hanging with Bahkey
Dave came and got the kids yesterday to go hang out at the train station for the afternoon. My kids love to go places with Bahkey, and he likes to take them and show them the trains. So it is a great situation for all of them. And I got a couple of hours to clean and do laundry in quiet. (Oh that is sad, I enjoy my quiet time doing chores...only a mom).

Pink!
Ally celebrated her 4th birthday today. I honestly can't believe she is 4. I think she has grown up the fastest out of all my kids. I planned a party around her favorite book, Pinkilicious. It was very pink! She got spoiled rotten and even got the one and only present she was asking for....a fishing pole. Thanks to Owen & Davis for coming through on that one. At 4 years old, Gator loves all things pink. She enjoys preschool and playing with her barbies and babies. She loves to have friends over to play. Swimming, skating, playing outside, sledding & bikes are some activities she enjoys. She is a fun little girl, that just enjoys being busy and having a fun time.

Shades
I'm continuing what I started last year and posting old pictures. Some things I just want to remember or some pictures just need to be posted. Owen always had on a hat and sunglasses. Even in the shower or bed he had on a hat. All my kids have liked their sunglasses though. I hate to be without my glasses though, so I guess they take after me.
