We went to JR's birthday party last night. My kids LOVE playing with their cousins. So the kids had a blast and didn't want to leave and go home.

Davis and Owen had so much fun riding these bikes. They would go up to the top of the hill, and then fly down the sidewalk. It was so funny. Yes, Davis is on a purple bike. He didn't care. That is Davis for ya. He just likes to have fun. And the bike that Owen is on, is the bike that he got for his 3rd birthday. We handed it down to Davis, and now JR. So yes he has grown up a little since he was 3!

Wishful Thinking

I am changing my blog background hoping it will help fall come sooner. I LOVE fall. It is by far my favorite season, although I do enjoy all of the season. I enjoy fall and it's activites most. I love the cool crisp air, the smell, watching my kids play football and soccer, pumpkins, soup, the leaves, and colors, frightmares, going for walks, halloween and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Oh I want fall to come NOW!!!

She loves it!

I was making dinner the other night and Davis and Ally were playing together. Davis is so funny with Ally. She loves him so much! And he is always coming up with fun things to do with her, although some are a little more questionable than others. Ya notice all the stools are on top of the counter. I had to do that when they were jumping from one to the other and climbing on the counters and stove. She would follow him anywhere!

There they go!

Well, it came again. After a great summer vacation the boys once again got on the school bus this morning! Funny how on the last day of school, I am looking at 3 months ahead of me and thinking what on earth am I going to do all summer? But it seems like just a few days later I am putting them back on the bus another year older. Where does the time go? Ally cried this morning as she saw them getting on the bus. Do you think it was because she will miss the boys or because she realized it was just her and me all day now?

Isn't this poster cute? Thanks Andrea for thinking of my boys, they LOVED this gift!!! They wanted to make sure I took a picture of it before they ate the treats.

Owens 9th Birthday

Today Owen turned 9!!!! Crazy I know. We had a fun, but very busy day. He went to his friends birthday party. He was excited because they sang to him also. We had back to school night tonight and got to meet the boys teachers and get all their school supplies and such. I stayed and helped at the school while Owen went off to football. He likes taking a birthday treat to football, because he never gets to take one to school because it is always summer vacation. After all that we took Owen out to dinner at his favorite restaurant. He loves Texas Roadhouse, but after a long day I think he was too tired to really enjoy it. Happy Birthday Owen! We love you so much and you are a great kid!!!!

Still going

Summer may be just about over, but we are still going, and will be right up until Monday morning when I wave to the boys going off to school on the bus. And after that I will go in my house and go back to bed because man I am tired!!! Today we spent the day at Cherry Hill. We had so much fun! Thanks everyone for going and playing with us today.

More Summer Happenings

Again the summer has gotten away from me. My room didn't get painted, the garage didn't get cleaned, the garden never got planted, but we sure had a lot of fun together. We are nearing the end of summer vacation, much to my childrens efforts to stall time they are down to their last week before school starts. Owen's summer has pretty much already come to an end with the beginning of football. Now he has practice every night, instructions to drink lots of water and rest during the day, bruises from his head to his toe, and sore feet, but he loves every second of it. Here are some more photos of us having a great time!

We went to the Davis County Fair and Rodeo last night. The boys rode the bull, played games and we enjoyed good fair food. And the rodeo was, well.... a rodeo. But the kids had a BLAST and it is so much fun to hang out with family. Although I do love the clown at this rodeo. He is very funny!

This was so funny. They brought the kids down and brought out a cow with money taped to him. The kids got to chase the cow and keep the money they were able to get. Well, I will have to tape money to the dogs and let the kids practice this because they didn't get any money!!

And of course more Lagoon photos.

Bowling

Last week we took the kids bowling. They needed a break from Lagoon. It is pretty sad when you have to beg your kids to go to Lagoon. Actually it is just Owen who is sick of it, Davis would go swimming there daily if I was up to it. So for a change of pace we took them bowling.

Check the boys out. I had to snap a photo of their funny faces while they were bowling. They are so dang cute!

I had to laugh at all four of them. They sat and watched the ball as if they could change it's direction just by staring at it. I've always been one that had to throw the ball and quickly turn. I can't watch, I know silly.

And the winner was.....

Yes, Ally won!! We all got beat by a one year old. And yes, she bowled every turn by her self. It couldn't have been the bumpers and ramp (no, I am not a sore loser!)

Shoes & Purses

As Ally's personality is developing I sit back and wonder who's child she is. The girl LOVES shoes and purses. Neither of which I have ever had a love for, and I hope Clark doesn't have a secret passion for purses either. But Ally walks into church weekly with her purse shaking hands with only men in suits. She goes through the house and trys on every pair of shoes. She will then blow me kisses and wave good bye. A couple of weeks ago I had the kids at McDonalds and I realized I hadn't seen Ally for a little bit. So I walked around to find her at the shoe bin. She had taken hers off and put them away, and was trying on every pair of shoes that had been put there by other kids. Tonight I have Josh and Rachelles boys spending the night. So there is Ally in the middle of all these boys playing cars, but she still had her purse!

The last 16 months of my life

I decided to print my blog and I was shocked!! It was over 350 pages. I went through 4 color cartridges, and 3 black. I guess I felt I would crash blogger or something with all my nonsense. So now that it is printed what do I do with it?

Luau

Tonight was Grace's Luau. And like every year it was a great preformance. Grace you did a beautiful job. We love watching you dance. And Lu, hope we can watch you dance next year again.

My new project

I have just lunged into a new project, and it is overwhelming. I have always wanted all my pictures on CD. That is the one thing I would want to save in a fire, if my family was safe, would be all my pictures. So I bought a scanner and have began this huge job. I have decided I take too many pictures. I have only got 2 months of the year 2000 and all of 2001 done and I already have scanned over 500 pictures. Here are pictures of my three darling kids, all when they had just turned one.
