Stupid flu!!!

Here is Ally last night helping with the preparations for her 5th birthday.  She helped me decorate and make cupcakes and cookies for her friends to all decorate.  She has been counting down the tomorrows until her birthday for weeks.  She went to bed early because she said she had a big day today. 

And this was my cute 5 year old this morning.  She woke up at 4am with the stupid flu:-(.  We were so sad. 

So Gator spent her birthday in bed.  It was awful.  She had a few moments of feeling ok, and we gave her her gifts.  She had a couple visitors that braved the germs.  Her cute friend brought her balloons and Sister Barnes (her favorite primary & swim teacher and neighbor to go visit on her bike rides) brought her flowers. 

And now this evening, she is feeling much better.  We sang her happy birthday and she licked the frosting, still not ready to eat, but she tried.  Friday is now March 4th.  And we are going to celebrate this cute girl all day!
