Redo!

Found it!!! Oh my gosh, I am so excited. Here it is midnight, and I just couldn't calm down, I was so upset about losing my camera. Yes, I know I have problems, but I was so sad. Anyway I went back out to my car and looked again and there was my camera. It had fallen down off my seat and was stuck in between that and the console thingy. Oh happy day! So anyway now for an update on the pictures. We went to Lagoon tonight. I made the mistake of telling Gator we were going this morning, and it was a very long day. Poor girl just loves her goon. So after football practice we headed out with some buddies to meet up with cousins at Frightmares. I just have to laugh when I think of my big tall strong boys, running and crying when they see the scarey ghosts and goblins walking around the park. I guess I shouldn't laugh, but I do. And I guess I really shouldn't post it and make fun of them, but again, I do. It's all in love though...I promise.

I'm sad...

I was going to update tonight with cute pictures from Frightmares, I had some good ones. But I lost my camera. I don't even know what to do, I am so sad.

Yea me!

So I am not a real handy lady, but today I am proud of myself. My fix it list was growing and today I conquered it. My Excursion has been needing a new battery, check. Ally's bike needed new tubes and the chain kept falling off, check. My stroller also needed new tubes, check. It took me a little while to figure out how to even replace tubes, but once I did it was quite an easy task. Ally is even proud of me, that or just happy she can finally ride her bike again, or go for a walk/run with me instead of getting left home.

Slow month

Gosh my post count is way down this month. It's been crazy busy, but just the same stuff over and over. Time for an old picture. Grace what in the world were you doing here?

Just cause they can't get enough

Football, football, football. It is insane. We spend all day Saturday at games, and this is what they do when they get home. Have friends over and play more football. Look at Ally out there in the middle of all the action. Although even she had a playdate today. And believe it or not it was with another 3 year old girl. I bet that was fun for the mom, glad I was home with all the boys:)

We're lonely

Gator and I are laying here watching Strawberry Shortcake, and she says "momma I miss my boys". Me too Gator, me too. It is crazy, they are just so social lately and growing up. I am happy and grateful they have such great friends to be with, but I miss them. Last night they were out late at the Fremont football game, and today we've been to their games and right after they both went with friends. And all the while they've been gone, my phone and doorbell has kept ringing with more friends wanting to hang out. I am going to have to start getting a schedule of "mom time" going soon. So we are looking at pictures of our boys, Gator liked this one. It made her smile.

Is this ok?

I look at this picture of Owen, and I think "Oh my crap, that kid is huge!" Most the time his size doesn't phase me, I am used to it. But other times I look at him and it just blows my mind. I love every last inch of him though!

Well rounded (crappy phone pics...I was too lazy to go get my camera)

Ally that is. Since she's been born, she's been around the boys and all their friends. She loves all their friends and they treat her great. But she doesn't have many girl friends. Just today I took her to McDonalds after school and she was the only girl in the playland. I think there was at least 15 little boys running around, but it didn't phase her. She had a great time. Also she spends all her time at football or basketball or doing "boy" things. But she is very girly. She loves to dress up and she loves sparkles and glitter and babies and painted nails. So today I thought it was funny, when she was wearing her princess dress, basketball shoes and playing football. I don't think there are many 3 year old girls that say things like "I'm the center, Owen you be the quarterback." Or vice versa. And she knows just what she is talking about. Her and Owen had a great game of football downstairs. She knows all the plays, if the boys have their way she will be out on the field in about 5 years. But she will be wearing her "fancy shoes", and jewlery, with pink polish on her nails.

And just cause I like to cause myself grief and make my kids whine and fight and scream...I took a picture of the 3 of them after the football game. A picture, it could be such a simple thing. Not for my kids though. It has to be a huge ordeal.

I can't be trusted

With keys that is. Just a couple of weeks ago, I left the Excursion keys sitting on the trunk of the car. Well, Clark took off to go pick up Davis at a friends house and this is how I found the keys the next day in the middle of the road.

Down one set of keys. And tonight the kids and I were at Owens basketball practice at the park. We go to go home and no keys. Dang...where did they go? So we walked home (the kids were not happy about that at all). I got the extra set of keys and walked back to the park and got the car.

Down another set of keys. I better learn a way to keep my keys. I only have one other set for both cars, next time I will be in trouble!

The day came

We've all been talking about preschool for months. Gator has been so excited to start school, and she has been waiting and waiting for her turn to go to school. Well, today I took her to her first day of preschool. As we were driving she told me I would go home and when I missed her I could come wait outside for school to be over, then she would come outside and give me a hug and kiss. She got out of the car and never looked back. She had a great first day being a detective looking for her letters. I've included first day of preschool pictures of the boys too. This was actually Owen's second day. His first picture, he was pale and sad looking. I guess that would explain why when we got to school, he threw up all over the parking lot. He looked much better the next day so we got another picture. Gosh look at these cute kids!!

Ally makes breakfast

With it being Labor Day, there was no school bus coming this morning to get us out of bed. Plus my only plans for the day are yard work and washing my car.....who's gonna get out of bed for yard work? I hear Ally down in the kitchen saying "mom I'm hungry.". She came upstairs with breakfast and a big smile.

Binki Babies

More old pictures. All 3 of my kids have LOVED their binkis. We spent lots of money on binkis and lots of time looking for them around the house. :( no more binkis around our house.

A night away

Mom and Colin get the condo up at Powder Mountain a couple times a year for some R&R. Their plans for quiet time quickly go out the window after they invite all of us up for the weekend. My kids and I didn't even get there until Saturday evening, and yet my kids still caused them to question their kindness in inviting us. Ally had been waiting all day to go up to the "pondo", she really thought we were going to a pond, and she would be swimming with ducks. Don't even ask me where she gets these ideas. She was thrilled when we finally were able to head on up, after football. The kids needed to cool off and headed straight for the pool first thing. They had to hurry and get started to get all the stuff in that they wanted to do. Basketball, pool, swimming, hiking, the crane, the ski lift, staying up all night, driving their mother crazy, you know the basics of a night away with all their cousins. We had a fun time. It made me very excited for fall. After the heat wave we've been having, the cool mountain air felt SO wonderful, and it made me want that kind of weather down here. But it looks like we are still in for some heat....oigh drinking lots of ice cold water.

6th & 3rd

First day of school today for the boys. They came home and said they had an awesome day. They both love their teachers and are excited for this school year. Owen is looking forward to this being his last year of elementary. I hope this year goes really slow, because I am not ready to have a kid in junior high! Ally was a bit disappointed that she didn't go to school today too. Preschool doesn't start until the 6th of September, so she had to settle with going out on the driveway and waving to her boys as they rode away on the bus. She couldn't see Davis and spent the whole day with a broken heart, because she thought he didn't wave to her. I would tell her that he did, she just didn't see him, and she would be fine for a while, but would soon bring up the subject again. By the end of the day, the kids were exhausted. Here we are again to busy times. No more busy as in swimming, camping, hotels, playing with friends & eating popsicles, but busy as in homework, reading, scouts, & football practice. Just need to get in a new groove and we will be good!

Owen is 11....impossible

Thankyou to everyone for coming to Owens game today to help celebrate his birthday. He was excited when he saw the balloons and banner and everyone. He said it made him feel good. I don't know if he was more excited for his first game or his birthday. So combine them and he couldn't be happier!! After the games today he had a birthday party with a thousand of his friends. Ok, maybe it just seemed like it, but they had a great time. Happy Birthday Owen!!

Best time of the year!!

Today was the day Owen, Davis AND Clark wait for all year long. It is right up there with birthdays and Christmas and summer vacation. It is fOoTbAlL sEaSoN!! Both of the boys teams did awesome today in their first games of the season. Owens team won 39 to 0 and Davis's team won 33 to 0. Clark is pulling double duty and coaching both teams. The boys love it, and it is Clarks life calling. If he could make a living coaching little league football, he would. They are all rubbing off on me. I had a blast today, and the other night I was upstairs relaxing watching a football game on TV. Yes, me. I know hard to believe, but true!
This year Owen is #61 (for now anyway, he is wanting his old # back and they are working on it)

And Davis is #41. He doesn't care what # he is as long as he is playing football.

And Gator is keeping herself pretty busy as well. She loves football season, because it is just a social time for her. She walks around the park with her friends and they play their little games. She likes to cheer for her boys, but she is also still tumbling and loving it.
