Date night

The boys asked me on a date tonight.  I've only been to one concert in my life, and it wasn't a very good band at that.  But Owen loves going to country concerts, he has been to quite a few.  When Owen or Davis find a song they like, they send it to me to listen to.  Sometimes we agree, sometimes we don't.  An artist we all agree on is Granger Smith.  We all like his songs, and he put on a great concert.  Lots of energy, fun, good messages, and great music.  We had good seats to begin with, sitting right by the light and computer guys.  Mid concert, Granger Smith walked out in the crowd and jump right on that stage right by us and sang one of the boys' favorite songs.  It was pretty cool. It was so fun being with my boys this evening.  The concert was up in Logan at Cherry Peak ski resort, so it was an awesome venue.  We ate dinner up there and got a treat and watched an amazing concert. 

 "Heaven Bound Balloons"  Owen first sent me this song at the beginning of June.  Tragically just a few days after this song was released, the 3 year old son of Granger Smith and his wife drowned.  The whole crowd was silent as he sang this song, I had chills.  I don't know how he was able to finish. 

 The lighting in this picture is terrible, but it's still a great picture.  Davis was taking a picture of himself right by the stage and Granger Smith saw this and photo bombed him.
