Knee surgery

We're going on faith here.  The knee obviously had to be fixed, but we have faith he will recover and be playing football again by next fall.  The surgeon said his knee went back together good, and he has a nerve blocker in to help his pain for a couple of days.  I took him to Carrie's after surgery.  I figured her house was better than all my stairs up to the 3rd floor.  Plus she works from home, so she will be there for him during the day.  Before he would lay down and rest though, he insisted on going to his game.  He said if he was alive, he was going.  So I took him to his game, then back to Carrie's to start recovering.
