Winning games, major setback

Last Thursday the sophomores won their game.  So on Friday when the varsity won their game as well, it was exciting.  The varsity game was tough, and we barely pulled the win off in the last 30 seconds.  Then on Saturday, Gator had a soccer game and played so well.  Her team also won!  What a fun weekend.  And it really would've been perfect except for one major setback.  Owen got hurt.  He was celebrating after the win Friday and tore his Patella Tendon.  He felt instant pain and knew he had done something really bad.  We are trying to find the good in the situation, but I'm not sure what the good is here.  We went to the doctor today and he is getting surgery next week and is looking at an 8-12 month recovery.  ISU is unsure what this injury will do to his scholarship.  Owen's world will be over if he can't play football.  I don't understand why this happened.   So much crappiness is going on in our lives right now, why did this happen?
